Leuven (Belgium) from 25 - 27 May 2011 - Lineage Commitments: Emphasis on Extraembryonic-Embryonic Interfaces

a EMBO workshop notably organized by Anne Camus from the Institut Jacques Monod

The extraembryonic-embryonic interface is usually poorly addressed in regular Developmental Biology or Stem Cell meetings. This EMBO Workshop aims to discuss the front line developments in growth factor mediated communication at the extraembryonic-embryonic interfaces, progressively reinforcing lineage commitment and cell fate decisions in the early embryo. It will cover early developmental biology, stem cell biology, epigenetics, signal transduction, high resolution imaging technology and related topics as well as clinical investigations on the consequences of extraembryonic malformations.

Registration and abstract submission (by April, 29), and Program on the EMBO Workshop website.

The Organizers : Anne Camus (Institut Jacques Monod, Paris), Susana Chuva de Sousa Lopes (Leiden University Medical Center), An Zwijsen (Laboratory of Developmental Signaling, Department of Molecular and Developmental Genetics, Leuven).
