2011: an excellent year for the permanent recruitment of young scientists at the Institut Jacques Monod
This year, 6 young scientists working at the IJM obtained permanent public research or university positions.

- Anna Babour: selected by INSERM as a junior staff scientist, she works in Catherine Dargemont's group.
- Nicolas Borghi: selected by CNRS as junior staff scientist, he is joining the Maïté Coppey's group.
- Frédéric Causeret: selected by INSERM as junior staff scientist, he keeps on carrying out researchs in Alessandra Pierani's group.
- Julien Dumont: selected by CNRS as senior staff scientist, he has created his own group, Cell Division and Reproduction.
- Pierre Kerner: selected by Université Paris Diderot as assistant professor, he works in Guillaume Balavoine & Michel Vervoort's group.
- Mélanie Provost: selected by CNRS as senior staff scientist, she is back in Thierry Grange & Eva-Maria Geigl's group.
